Early Impressions
It is VERY early, but I liked what I saw from the first preseason game......Nevermind the victory, at this stage this means little......Two of the biggest holes in the Steelers team were a solid number 3 reciever to replace Washington, and depth at corner to account for William Gay moving into McFaddens starting corner role.........Sweed looked like the guy they were expecting when they used a number 2 pick on him in last years draft......In fact, if he plays like a guy who understands the offense, his size could make a huge difference in the passing game........the Steelers look they picked up the depth at corner they needed in the draft, and maybe an upgrade in the punt return game with the same player......Ziggy Hood will add depth and youth on the defensive line................I like the intensity that Mendenhall showed...........The offensive line is well, not that different, but somehow they managed to win the SB with a unit that did not impress me.....Finally, they pick up 20 yards per possession with Sepulvada back. Stay healthy all........
