NHL/Joke/Pens lose

Could not sum up my feelings about this game and the set up for tomorrow any better with words.
It was great to see Guerin pick up goal number 17 today.....not bad for an old guy!

She began to warm up after goal number 4.............and unfortunately she sang today!

Where to start......First, the fact that the NHL always was, and still is..............a garage league. The Penguins stunk today, deserved to lose, and would have lost the game regardless, but the first goal that Montreal scored was so obviously goaltender interference it is not even funny. Instead of 1-0 Montreal, it should have been 0-0, with the Pens on a powerplay. However, the way our PP played today, that may have been a blessing. Of more importance, the league will sacrifice the safety of an entire team, many fans, and staff members all to satisfy their greed and the greed of the pathetic network that covers this game. At best, the Pens may as well give up the two points tomorrow, after playing an afternoon game, and probably not getting into DC until very late tonite, only to drop the puck at noon tomorrow. At worst, well hopefully that wont happen.

The Penguins were just bad today, with so many defensive zone coverage lapses, it wasn't even funny. Ruslan Fedotenko, a player I liked enough to buy a jersey, is HORRIBLE...............he missed two perfect chances at least today to finish plays set up by Crosby and just CANNOT. Sorry, but the 1.8M in cap space he is taking up needs to be eliminated asap so we can bring in either a winger who can finish an occasional play and/or not be a complete defensive liability or a solid stay at home defenseman.

I actually truly believed when the Pens were down 3-1 today that they were going to storm back and win this game, and when Guerin made it 3-2 I was SURE of it. The fourth goal broke their backs, and the Pens lost a golden opportunity to pick up two points against an average Montreal team with injury problems. Good luck tomorrow, that is a tall order.
