Winning the Stanley Cup is the ultimate achievement in professional sports in my opinion, so winning it is sweet enough. To win against the Red Wings, the best team of our time makes it especially sweet.......to do it on their ice after they had made their Cup parade plans a week ago, well now we are reaching beyond sweet........Sprinkle in winning it against Hosebag, who hung the Pens out to dry late in the free agent season to go to Detroit because they are "all about winning," and they provided a better chance to win the Cup???? Well, sweet does not begin to describe that! Maid Marian took a little less money for one year v a multi year offer from the Pens........how sick is he today? He sat on his home ice in Pittsburgh last year and watched the Wings celebrate sports' most cherished trophy........he then bolted to join them, I am sure thinking he would get to drink from the Cup in June 2009...........June 2009, Hosebag is now sitting on his new home ice in Detroit watching his old mates skate with the holy grail!! The only Cup he will drink from this year is Datsyuks!
