I am utterly speechless after attending the game tonite.....the crowd outside was unreal.....the atmosphere inside......unreal.........on top of that the Pens held serve and head into Joe Louis arena tied 2-2 after falling behind 2-0 in the series. Equally important a script that was looking a little too much like years was broken by tonights victory. Malkin continued his unbelievable playoff pace, and players like Staal and Kennedy broke LONG playoff scoring droughts. As important, Sidney Crosby broke the seal and put one of his many chances in the net, and Fleury was brilliant. All of these are encouraging signs........hey, the Pens could lose the next two games and bow out in six like last year, but I doubt it. They also could win the next two and be the Stanley Cup champs........or they could play a seventh game that either team can win. No matter what happens next, this team earned its stripes in the grit and heart meter again tonite. I hope they win the Stanley Cup more than I have ever hoped any Pittsburgh team would win a championship. They may or may not, but they are truly deserving. Buckle your seat belts, because this is looking like another playoff classic..........on a side note, the jersey tonite had unreal response.....thanks to all who made it a fun time!!
