Pens lose to Habs in shootout 2-1

Pens lost tonight to the Habs 2-1 in a shootout. They were without both Crosby and Cooke which altered the 1st and 3rd lines, on the road playing the second of back to back games, so getting a point is really not a bad effort. They were down 5 on 3 in the third period for an extended period of time and did a great job killing it off. They seem to be down 2 men a lot lately. It would be nice to see Malkin carry some of the weight again with Crosby out. He did generate some chances tonight, but needs to bury some goals to take up the slack. If he can't, well, let's just hope that he can. It looks like Captard Steckel's hit has resulted in a mild concussion for Crosby, meaning 3-5 additional games without Crosby. Circle 2/6 in DC, and fix this situation boys. Excellent effort by Johnson tonight by the way.
