Pens come from behind to beat Sabres

The Penguins lose Malkin for what looks like an extended period of time. The Penguins again play with a watered down lineup and pull out another win. It looks as if they might need to keep stealing games without either head of the two headed monster. After spotting the Sabres a 2-0 lead, Fleury held the Penguins in it. Then the Penguins explode for three goals in about 4 minutes during the second period, to take the lead. The explosion was led by Dustin Jeffrey, who has 3 goals and an assist in the past 5 games, and followed up by nice goals by Tyler Kennedy and Matt Cooke. The Penguins shut the door and held on for another victory. I am not sure that the Penguins can continue this kind of play without either of their top two upons around whom this team was built, but I love what they have done so far. The Goose haters will be out in force, as he had an ugly turnover that led to the first goal, and a generally rocky first period, but he assisted on a goal tonight and was all over the ice creating offensive opportunities all night long. Sunday is a hate match and I sure hope that the Penguins leave a mark or two on Steckel, and maybe target one of the Caps top players for some off time. Time to go hunting Captards.
