These games happen during the course of a season. The Pens no show for the first half of the game, fall down 3-0, wake up furiously battle back, but get stoned by a hot goaltender. The good news is that Crosby extends his scoring streak to 24 games, and hits the 30 goal at the earliest point in his career. Crosby has 30 goals in 37 games, and is pacing for 66 on the season. That would be a great number for so many reasons. Last season, his best goal scoring season ever, where he finished tied for the Rocket Richard trophy with 51 goals, found Crosby netting his 30th goal during his 47th game, so he is ten games ahead of his best year. In 05-06 it took him 63 games, in 06-07 it took him 68 games, and in 08-09 it took him 72 games, so the Kid is on one hellacious goal scoring pace!
